Frequently asked questions

Accounts, practice modes, scoring and your data.

Accounts

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to try the sample questions on the home page. Create a free account to save your progress, keep a streak, bookmark questions and see your weak topics.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes, when Google sign-in is enabled you'll see "Continue with Google" on the sign-in page. You can also use email and password.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Delete account, or follow the steps on the account deletion page. Deletion permanently removes your account and all your study data.

Practice

What practice modes are there?

  • Quiz: choose feedback after each question or at the end.
  • Timed exam: a countdown and no feedback until you submit.
  • Flashcards: flip and rate Again, Hard, Good or Easy; spaced repetition schedules reviews.
  • Review mistakes: only the questions you got wrong last time.

Can I stop in the middle of a quiz?

Yes. Your answers are saved as you go, and the dashboard shows a Continue session button.

Scoring

How are select-all-that-apply questions scored?

Your headline score is all-or-nothing: you need every correct option and no incorrect ones. You also see partial credit, where each correct pick adds a point and each incorrect pick subtracts one (never below zero), as on the Next Generation NCLEX.

How are interview (open-ended) answers scored?

After you submit, you see a model answer and a checklist of key points. Tick the points your answer covered; 75% or more counts as correct.

What counts as a "weak" topic?

A topic where you've answered at least 3 questions and got fewer than 70% fully correct.

Content

Is the NCLEX content official?

No. Sharp is an independent study tool and isn't affiliated with NCSBN. Questions follow the published NCLEX-RN test plan and NGN item formats, but they're original practice items, not real exam questions.

I found a mistake. What should I do?

Please email info@tachara.online with the track, topic and a few words of the question.
